No Moon by Irene N. Watts

It's book club time again where child & parent get to share in reading a book together, joining other families and discussing their thoughts, whilst eating yummy food! My husband & oldest son spent many evenings enjoying this book together. The main thread in the book is about a young girl coming of age, in the early 1900's, afraid of water, newly hired as a nursemaid in a privilaged household who are guests on the Titanic. It is a fictional story of her experiences on the historical Titanic.
My son loved the story. He found it exciting, intense, sobering and tragic. His favorite character was the Lady of the House's assistant 'Hart' who was kind & caring to the young girl.

My son said this was probably one of the best books he's read.

He give's this book two thumbs up!

This book is great for kids 10yrs & older.
